Shallow Depths of Surf, 2004 Jacqueline Nixon I love taking portraits, I love nature and all that lot too, but portraits are my thing. Photography has done a lot for me, built my confidence through experimentation, but that's not the main thing, I messed with stuff all the time, naturally very curios. It played a major part in confidence building as sinse it was the route of portrait taking I seemed to naturally flow down. I needed to approach people, you don't need to ask the sea if it would mind modeling for you, but you do people. I can see how it may not seem like a big thing, how hard is it to ask a question? But for me it was, and to a certain degree, still is, just not as much. |
